Some are afraid of funerals, but they shouldn't be because funerals are a celebration of a lived life. Hellen Keller once said, "What we once enjoyed and deeply loved we can never lose, for all that we love deeply becomes part of us." Therefore, funeral services should step up their game and give a worthy-remembering ceremony of a beautifully lived life.Ĭatholic funerals may differ from any other funerals because they have their own rituals or order of services held in the church, symbols, and many more. So, we must live our lives to the fullest but in accordance with His teachings. The basic purpose of doing so is to conclude the obituary in a proper manner. We must never forget that God can take back the life He has given us in one blink of an eye. This can be a phrase like “You have left the world but you will stay in our hearts forever.” Or you can simply add some relevant quote, a poem, a Biblical verse, etc. ![]()
